Dorian Gray by Oskar Wilde Dorian trades his soul for eternal beauty and youth. Would you do the same?
"LAARTTV’s Breakthrough: The Human Connection to Beauty" – Unlike top beauty companies’ cold, artificial ideals, LAARTTV sparks real conversations on art and beauty, rooted in natural DNA traits. Jean Baudrillard’s simulacra and simulation theory reveals how mass-market beauty replaces reality with lifeless perfection, visual acuity, olfaction.
March 29, 2025, Los Angeles. CURRENT HIP in L.A. BY JOANNA ROSENZWEIG. E.P.F. London.
This echt vernissage was the scene—art heads, film buffs, all orbiting Jim Jarmusch at James Fuentes Gallery, Los Angeles. “Some More Collages,” marked his first solo show in the city—and it buzzed.
The one-of-a-kind collages echoed the aura of Jarmusch’s films—gore chic. He removed heads from magazines and NY Times photos, likely with a surgeon’s, Bayonet-style microsurgical scalpel. Precision was a must for this unique artist-filmmaker, crafting abstract compositions.
His collages honor the popular movie era zombie heads by swapping in those of Basquiat, Picasso, and Dalí. Mr. Jarmusch signed his book “Some More Collages,” for his numerous fans as L.A. Art TV, a perfect match for the extraordinary, captured the scene. Its host engaged the art crowd with a provocative question: "If Jim Jarmusch cast me in “Only Lovers Left Alive,” Part Two, I must taste a blood popsicle—O negative. The actor part pay is $50,000. Would I do it? What’s your take?" James Fuentes Gallery 5015 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90038.
Katherine Bernhardt and Jeremy Scott dropped an art-fashion blitz at Kansas City’s Nerman Museum during the Super Bowl 2023 Match Made in Heaven scored big—loud, playful, and totally unexpected. The art crowd lit up wondering what to wear for game day. People’s Designer Jeremy Scott once slept in the metro. But his fate was talent and grind. He rose to become Moschino’s creative king. His designs graze the gowns that brush against Golden Oscars and Grammys in the hands of their stars. Even the dead dream of his winged sneakers, yearning to rise again—resurrected into the limelight. ©

Make this your next must-see art stop—especially with a friend in tow. At David Zwirner Art Gallery in Los Angeles, artist Katherine Bernhardt delivers Sidewalk Chalk a vibrant feast for the eyes. Her wildly saturated color palette—think bold reds, blues, and greens—instantly grabs our attention, guided by her intuitive sense of color emotion.
Working in acrylic and spray paint on towering 8ft x 10ft canvases, Bernhardt ditches tradition by using tools like mops alongside brushes to inventively express her vision. One standout, Shibab, features a pink panther-esque figure carrying extra butter—perfect for Hollandaise sauce at a Sunday brunch Raf’s in New York. Another piece, Shooting Star, channels ET with a cryptic message meant just for you. What it says? That’s for you to find out. Gallery address: 606, 612, and 616 N Western Avenue, Los Angeles, CA.

Katherine Bernhardt’s Magic Carpet project blends art and purpose. Traveling through with Berber Youssef Jdia in Morocco, she collects handmade rugs crafted in a cave-dwelling by nomadic women. She paints these vibrant textiles onto canvas, turning souks into traveling art shows. Beyond the visuals, her mission supports female artisans and helps preserve vital weaving traditions. Great artist, powerful cause. She is Woman Artist on the pedestal.

Stirs something in her—colors, conversations, the thrill of the find. She lingers on a abstract canvas, thinking, that bedroom wall is waiting. “A woman with wit, clearly." The Sunday breeze moves her Ralph Lauren coat—a note of her pleasant experience and a new art find. LaArtTV.©
Radiating Art World Rebellion: Honor Fraser Gallery Crowns Pussy Riot’s Tolokonnikova Among Radical Masters in PUNK’S NOT DEAD PT II.
LaArtTV, Gabrielle Lefkowitz, Los Angeles. Solo art extravaganza: Nadezhda (Nadya) Tolokonnikova, the “artist with a story”®, Siberian Conceptual Artist, Activist, and Pussy Riot Creator, Joins the Ranks of Ruling Women Artists Like Sophie Calle, Marina Abramović, and Carolee Schneemann.
Ahead of the vernissage, Nadya electrified the atmosphere with a sold-out concert, as a winding line of hopefuls circled the gallery. Her stage, barricaded by riot shields, merged seamlessly into the installation: metal crosses affixed to walls, their shelves lined with pharma icons — Ozempic for thinness, Botox for youth, Prozac for bliss on demand. According to her Instagram, Nadya’s artwork in Linz, Austria — titled My Pussy Dolls — was vandalized when the glass display case was shattered. It could be seen as an echo of "Vladimir" (Putin) himself. Nadezhda, I already have a jail cell prepared for you — complete with a Versace Barocco Foulard blanket for your dreams. Obviously, Nadya hasn’t forgotten her two-year painful stint inside Moscow’s notorious Lefortovo Prison. It is known. No luxury could ever lure a smart, fearless woman like Nadya back to Russia. Gallery address: 2622 LA CIENEGA BLVD LOS ANGELES, CA 90034.
What are your thoughts on an art game where an artist’s paintbrush tickles your feet? The art studio transforms into a playful space. Foot tickling for pleasure was once popular in Russian palaces, with Czarinas like Catherine the Great and Anna Ivanovna. Eunuchs and women were even employed as full-time foot ticklers. Helps relieve stress, emotional bonds, and burn calories thanks to the endorphin rush. Why not try it yourself? Skip the psychiatrist - indulge in a tickle game! ©
