ARTIST KENWYN CRICHLOW: INCANDESCENCE, 11/4-12/9/23 The Artist Mr. Crichlow presents a suite of recent abstract oil paintings produced in his studio in Curepe, near Port of Spain, Trinidad. His paintings revel in multiple layers and episodes, clearly influenced by Trinidad's topographic and cultural landscape.

Artist Miss Caitlin Cherry's vernissage at the L.A. Hole Gallery titled: Womanizer.
The presentation of this art show stands out. It resembles Rome's Colosseum's elliptical amphitheater. In two large semicircles, she hangs images from Getty's digital clicks to illustrate black women artists and celebrities. Transformed into colorful oil-based separate images. It is the impression of overlapping oil collages that signifies the queerness of black women artists. Six mistresses were associated with Picasso. It is Mrs. Cherry's perspective that impinges on the double passion between the muses and their admirers. There is a sense of magnetism in the air. As a metal canvas, the back wall of the Hole Gallery was clad in aluminum or stainless steel. Here, the art of Miss Cherri is accentuated by the faces of women. It was this summer that Miss Cherry had a solo exhibition at Wattis Institute in San Francisco titled: The Regolith Was Boiling.
